Designer Mules
Though the Ancients may have worn them, it wasn't until the late 17th century that the "modern" rendition of women's mules made their way to courtly castles throughout Europe. Regal in every way, comfortable, stylish, and easy to slip off and on, it's no wonder that women's mules in all their permutations, with heels and without, in silk, satin, leather, and canvas, became the footwear of choice for generations of women. And while we may have more choices today than our 17th century sisters, women's mules still hold a place in our wardrobes and in our hearts.
Heeled Mules. Most of us just think of them as heels, pumps, or stilettos, but if your go-to look has a backless design, heeled mules have been hiding in your closet in plain sight - possibly for years. In strappy styles, closed-toed shapes, and open-toe silhouettes, they are often the shoes you turn to when you want a heel that won't rub your heel when you're standing or walking for extended periods of time. And with the latest in KURT GEIGER LONDON, JIMMY CHOO, Alexander Wang, and Sam Edelman mules, among others, you'll find designer mules for the office, galas, weekend brunch dates and everything in between.
Clog Mules. With a '70s vibe and timeless Scandinavian style, clog mules are heeled mules' funky little sister. Featuring wood soles and cork footbeds, leather uppers and shearling linings, they deliver the perfect combination of comfort and personality. Wear them with wide-leg jeans for a nod to the disco era, skinnies and an oversized sweater for a winter look that's impossibly chic, or a dress or shorts from spring to fall. With designs from Moschino, Marc Fisher LTD, and Andre Assous, plus Tory Burch mules in classic styles, you'll find the perfect clogs for day, evenings, weekdays, and weekends.
Black Mules. Ever the chic option, black mules are the answer when no other shoes will do. With classic styles and edgy designs, trend-forward looks, and sophisticated silhouettes, our newest collection of women's mules features basics that are anything but. Slip on a pair of Vince mules for your next coffee date, or Birkenstocks on Casual Friday. For dinner, try a heeled style from Cult Gaia, and for days at the office go with something from Bottega Veneta. With options for every facet of your week, you can step stylishly into every moment.
